Over the past 9 years our employees have joined together to participate in the Ride To Conquer Cancer. This is a 1 or 2-day event where thousands of cyclists of all ages and abilities come together to make a difference in the lives of those battling cancer on an epic ride from Toronto to Hamilton.

Joining The Ride means you’re committed to raising funds for life-saving cancer research. To qualify for the official RTCC event, riders are required to raise a minimum of $2500. Alectra will contribute up to half of the fundraising amount for you, donating up to $1250 for each employee and family member who joins our Team. You will only have to raise the other 50%.

You and a family member can both join our team, fundraise together and your family member can complete the physical ride for you. They will receive all the Team Alectra benefits, including the fundraising top-up. You can support them as a cheerleader along the way, and you are both invited to join in the team dinner and share the complimentary accommodations.

Join us as a Fundraising Ambassador and help collect donations for our Team. You will receive rewards for each level that you raise. If you reach the higher level, you can choose the gift from any level.
Become a Fundraising AmbassadorThis year we will have fundraising incentives for our non-riding employees. See our fundraising tiers and the rewards for each level in the chart. If you reach a higher level, you can choose one gift from any level below, until you hit $600+ when gifts become accumulative.
To register as a Fundraising Ambassador join our Team Alectra and select the Ride Your Way option - this will provide you with your own link that you can share to fundraise and will track your donations.
Remember, this event is for all ages and abilities, it is not about who finishes first, it is about coming together and participating. The ride is set up to support new riders. We will have Team Alectra Training Rides, and throughout the experience there are plenty of rest stops along the way and volunteers to help in any situation and our Team will be here to support you every step of the way.
